A Bit About Me
Michael founded Finish Line Physical Therapy in 2006 with the vision of creating a clinic that combines exceptional care with a supportive and athlete-focused environment for every patient. A licensed physical therapist since 1997, he earned his degree in physical therapy from Hogeschool Enschede in the Netherlands and is a Fellow of Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute. With over two decades of experience treating athletes of all levels, Michael is especially passionate about helping runners, golfers, and active individuals stay healthy, recover from injuries, and perform at their highest level.
Michael’s clinical approach is shaped by his personal experience as an endurance athlete and coach. He has run more than 25 marathons in such cities as New York (10x), Boston, Chicago, London, Philadelphia, New Orleans, San Diego, Arizona and Anchorage; and has coached hundreds of runners over the years. He has also completed the Lake Placid Ironman three times. Recently, he’s developed a deeper focus on golf, blending his biomechanical expertise with a love for the sport to help recreational and competitive golfers improve their swing and avoid injury. Whether you’re training for a race, working on your golf game, or just trying to stay active and pain-free, Michael brings a personalized, movement-based approach to every session.
