A Bit About maile

Maile brings experience, energy, and a passion for helping runners and endurance athletes to Finish Line Physical Therapy. Originally from Hawaiʻi, she moved east to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University. Before that, she competed as a Division I cross country and track athlete at Creighton University — so she knows first-hand the grind of training cycles, injury setbacks, and the thrill of race day.

Her approach blends performance-focused rehab with practical strength and movement strategies to help athletes not just recover — but come back stronger and more resilient.

Maile loves racing a 10-miler or half marathon, but she’s just as excited watching the 1500m and 3K steeplechase (track nerd, proudly). She even volunteered at the US Track & Field Olympic Trials and soaked up every second. Having overcome IT band issues herself, Maile understands the value of expert guidance and the right recovery tools, and she’s a big fan of integrating treatments like EPAT and cryotherapy when appropriate.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find her running, walking her two dogs (Horace and Baxter), or checking out local coffee shops and breweries. Maile believes in individualized, whole-body care — and helping every patient build a plan that fits their goals and their life.
