A Bit About Me
Alexis brings a mix of science, energy, and athlete-tested experience to her role as a Physical Therapist at Finish Line PT. A Doctor of Physical Therapy from Columbia University and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, she also holds credentials in pelvic floor therapy, run coaching, and has treated everyone from Broadway performers to postpartum runners. Basically, if you move, she’s ready to help you move better.
Originally from Texas (Gig ’Em!), Alexis went to undergrad at Texas A&M before heading to the Columbia for PT school. She spent time as a Broadway and West End physical therapist before joining FLPT. Her treatment approach blends biomechanics, strength, and whole-body strategy, but at the heart of it, Alexis believes in leading by example. She’s the kind of PT who’s doing the same hard things she’s asking you to do.
A dedicated runner herself, Alexis has conquered all six Abbott World Marathon Majors, earning her Six Star medal, and is now diving into triathlon training. She’s especially passionate about working with runners, pregnant and postpartum athletes, and active people who want to stay in motion—whether that’s on stage, on the field, or in the park.
Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find Alexis cruising through Central Park, daydreaming about her next travel destination, or watching Texas A&M football. She’s also survived a full ACL/MCL/meniscus tear, so she gets it, and she’s here to help you come back even stronger.
