A Bit About Me
Maile is one of our newer physical therapists at Finish Line, bringing nearly three years of experience and a passion for helping runners and endurance athletes. She graduated from Columbia and studied Exercise Science at Creighton University, where she also ran cross country and track.
Originally from Hawaii, Maile now called Queens (LIC) home. While she loves a good 10-mile race or half marathon, she’s just as into watching the 1500m and 3k steeplechase (track nerd alert!). Maile’s favorite tendon to treat is the Achilles because it’s powerful but tricky. She’s overcome ITB issues herself and knows the value of expert care and recovery tools—she’s a big fan of the EPAT machine and the cryo chamber.
Outside of work, Maile enjoys running, strength training, and walking her two dogs, Horace and Baxter. She believes in a whole-body, personalized approach and loves helping every patient find a plan that fits their life.
